Peter-Service closes this year’s event calendar with a major trade fair in Baku
Peter-Service has taken part in Bakutel 2016, the biggest annual ICT industry event in the Caspian region. This was the second time the company exhibited in Baku. This year’s four-day event gathered leading CSPs, system integrators and solution vendors who presented their latest projects in mobile and satellite communications, cloud services and space technology. Ranging from gadgets designed to make our everyday lives easier to latest advances in security, cyber attack prevention, e-government, smart city, e-commerce and 5G mobile networks, the products and solutions demonstrated in Baku give a clear view of the trends that will shape the industry and drive it forward over the next few years.
With Azerbaijan’s ICT sector developing rapidly, Bakutel has grown to become the largest international forum in the region. Over the recent years, the country’s mobile operators (Azercell Telecom, Bakcell, etc.) have been actively expanding their 4G networks, building fiber-optic broadband networks, modernizing infrastructure and introducing new services.
Peter-Service has showcased a range of solutions that reflect the latest global trends in ICT and fully match the needs of local CSPs. Visitors to the company’s booth were especially interested in its innovative MVNO/MVNE solutions as well as its line of classic real-time billing products. With its many years of experience and expertise, Peter-Service is perfectly placed to offer CSPs in the Caspian region advanced, reliable solutions to help them implement even the most challenging and complex projects.
“We’re gradually working to build relationships with businesses in this region. Unlike its European counterpart, Azerbaijan’s telecom market is very energetic and dynamic,” said Sergey Tverdokhlebov, Sales Director at Peter-Service, in an interview with Russia 24, a Russian-language news channel.
The international ICT exhibition was held in Baku from November 29 to December 2. This year’s event attracted over 200 companies from 18 countries, including Azerbaijan, Russia, Germany, France, Iran, Israel, Turkey, China and the US. Bakutel is an annual gathering supported by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Communications and High Technologies and Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan.
