BRM aims to address complex technical tasks, including subscriber authentication and service authorization using the functionality provided by network equipment and usage accounting using a billing system. What makes these tasks so challenging is the variety of access equipment that an AAA server has to deal with. BRM interoperates with equipment from leading vendors, such as Cisco, ZTE, Alcatel-Lucent, Juniper, Huawei an Ericsson, and fully meets the requirements for AAA servers. BRM is an optimal choice for broadband service providers who are using or are going to use a billing system from Peter-Service.
Multiple concurrent BRM servers with synchronization between them
Backup BRT and GUP servers ready to takeover if the main ones fail
The parameters of active sessions and subscriber profiles can be set without restarting the service
Interoperability with multiple RADIUS clients (from various vendors); statistics collection and management over the SNMP protocol
Running on Win 32/64 and RH Linux 5 or 6
Running offline and generating CDR files when no BRT or GUP server is available
