Purpose
The solution is designed to automate the whole range of actions to be taken by a telecom operator providing BBA services. The solution is primarily targeted at support for sales of services to subscribers as well as for credit control over the process of servicing a subscriber in the real-time mode.
The solution offered by CJSC PETER-SERVICE provides support for all business processes related to BBA subscribers, with a flexible range and settings of the services provided to such subscribers. The services can be configured at the deployment stage, without necessity of further updates of any products. Business Processes Implemented:
The solution fully supports the following business processes of a BBA operator:
- maintenance of the customer and subscriber registers; issuing of invoices; accounting for charges and payments;
- service rating; application of discounts and provision of other services under the real-time control;
- logical management of subscriber sessions; their analysis and definition of base IP services;
- support for workflows related to registration and processing of requests for activation of services and modification of current characteristics of the network connection;
- subscriber’s access to management of rating conditions and GUP profile of the services provided as well as to other self-care functions.

Components
- The PETER-SERVICE BIS Billing and Information System provides support for the functions which do not need to be processed in the real-time mode (such as customer service operations, monthly fee calculation and generation of reports).
- The PETER-SERVICE GUP Server platform for managing subscriber profiles makes it possible for subscribers of the telecom operator to select additional services and manage their parameters and to inform the systems providing these services about changed conditions of their provision to a particular subscriber by the systems' request or by subscription.
- The PETER-SERVICE CRM_CMS Contact Management System is designed to automate business processes regulating interaction with customers; the product supports the workflows associated with registration and with processing of requests for activation of services and modification of the current characteristics of a network connection.
- The PETER-SERVICE BRM (BRT Radius Mediator) platform of subscriber access controls access of subscribers to data transfer networks and to rating of services in the real-time mode.
- The PETER-SERVICE HRS High-Performance Rating Server performs rating of RT and NRT services.
- The PETER-SERVICE BRT Billing in Real Time supports functions of the real-time balance control and service provisioning server.
- The PETER-SERVICE SCC SelfCare Center provides interfaces for customers of a telecom operator to give them detailed information on their account balance and to let them manage their accounts in the billing system.
