New inter-operator billing solution

JSC PETER-SERVICE has brought forth a new proposal, unique to the Russian market, for telecommunications companies in need of inter-operator information support solutions. Based on the certified software product PETER-SERVICE ITC, the new solution is designed for network operators with relatively small subscriber bases.

PETER-SERVICE ITC is an interconnect-billing system, and enables a whole set of billing related processes, which bind transit traffic and regulate tariff accounts, as is determined by the affiliated partners. PETER-SERVICE ITC is used by major carriers in the Russian Federation, including Rostelecom, Megafon, MTS, and MTT, as well as all interregional communications companies.

Resulting from previous client experience, PETER-SERVICE offers a budgetary decision, which supports all the features that are required for operators with small subscriber bases. With a fixed set of additional features, it has been possible to reduce the demands on the hardware.

The cost of software licenses, including the necessary Oracle specifications, totals 2 million rubles for a single-processor Intel platform with the Windows operating system, when processing up to 5 million accounts per month.

The unique value of software licenses and the minimum hardware requirements will allow for substantial reductions in cost for solution operators, an experience which has proven successful in the operation of the largest companies. Thus, from PETER-SERVICE Inter-Connect, which had previously been available only to large operators, a new solution has been developed which can be used by small companies as well.
