Peter-Service, Russia's leading provider of software for the telecommunications industry, signed a contract to deliver the range of products to "21st Century Technologies"- a telecommunications operator providing fixed telephony services and broadband in the most populous country on the African continent - the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
"21st Century Technologies" is a fast-growing telecommunications operator in the telecom market in the region, providing fixed line telephony, broadband, VPN and other services. It has its own network of fiber optic communication channels. The growing subscriber base and expanding range of services provided by the Nigerian operator has identified the need for an integrated multifunction solution that can maintain the required level of provision of advanced telecommunications services in accordance with the marketing policy of "21st Century Technologies".
Within the framework of the signed contract at the recent Barcelona Mobile World Congress 2010, the converged communications billing system PETER-SERVICE BISrt will be provided to the operator, carrying out support and billing services for broadband and equipped for work in modern multiservice networks. In addition to the billing, "21st Century Technologies" has acquired a set of CRM-products, allowing it to build modern business processes associated with customer service.
The Nigerian operator selected the solutions of PETER-SERVICE based on the many years of successful experience of previous installations and operational support software to various operators. Due to this, "21st Century Technologies" plans to raise subscribers' service to a new level and significantly expand its subscriber base.
The telecommunications market in the African continent has shown over the past few years relatively high growth rates and therefore is attractive to build business ties which are designed for long-term interaction. Peter-Service, assessing the economic impact and the promise of new markets, has concluded its first contract with the dynamic Nigerian telecoms operator "21st Century Technologies", creating a foothold in a new region and continuing the policy of expanding activities beyond Russia and CIS countries.
