The Peter-Service company, a leading developer of billing solutions for large telecom operators in Russia and abroad, has launched in commercial operation its new software product – the PETER-SERVICE HEX system (HAS Equipment Control System), which is aimed to control telecom equipment of a telco.

Using the new PETER-SERVICE HEX system allows the telecom operator to maximally separate service-control business logic from the details of interaction with the equipment, which opens up further possibilities for creation of new complex services to subscribers.

Among basic functions implemented in HEX there are: dynamic generation of sequences of control commands, capability to provide additional checks for statuses of subscribers in the DBMS of the billing system immediately at the time of command execution, automated reconnection and switching to standby instances.

The system ensures advanced tracing, monitoring and troubleshooting tools and provides a wide range of possibilities for algorithmization of the command handling process. In addition, PETER-SERVICE HEX features high performance, flexible configuring and easy administering, which considerably affects the efficiency of how the telecom operator works.
