In June Peter-Service, the leading Russian developer of the billing and CRM systems for the telecommunications sector, successfully accomplished several installations of PETER-SERVICE HEX (HAS Equipment Control System), the new system of control of telecom equipment that was released to the market last spring. Among the most recent users of the system are several GSM operators, including «North-West GSM», «Mobicom-Novosibirsk», «Mobicom-Kavkaz» and «Mobicom-Centre».

According to the operators’ opinion the major causes of such popularity of HEX are its unique technical characteristics and extensive functionality. The system allows to make the control of telecom equipment much easier and significantly effective. Moreover, PETER-SERVICE HEX provides essential advantages for servicing the subscribers. The flexibility of the system settings ensures the ‘on-the-fly’ introduction of the additional services and the usage of the complex mechanisms processing tasks on many systems considering all possible mistakes. The new Peter-Service system is a unique tool to bring out the complicated algorithms of control of telecom equipment, and is a major step toward 3G.

The first user to operate PETER-SERVICE HEX has become Kyivstar, the biggest Ukrainian GSM operator. Currently the installation and trial of the new HEX system are in progress at «Sonic Duo» company in Moscow. The nearest plan for PETER-SERVICE HEX installations includes «Mobicom-Khabarovsk», «MSS-Povolzhie» and «Uralsky GSM» operators. The launch of the new system will optimize work of telecom operators in the regions and will enhance their potential for the additional services.
