Purpose

The PETER-SERVICE BIS billing information system is aimed at automating the business activities of fixed telecom operators, GSM and CDMA operators, digital television operators, as well as operators deploying several networks of the above mentioned standards at a time.

Brief description

PETER-SERVICE BIS supports the full cycle of functions related to the current services to customers (money control, work with payments, conditional crediting, issuing monthly and extra bills and controlling their delivery, changing the set of services, marketing campaigns). The system can support the work of an operator on his/her workplace or function in the automatic mode.

For subscribers of fixed telecom operators, the system supports working with queues, customers entitled to special social benefits, customers who have debts, data on the peculiarities of subscribers' connection to the telephone network, including the plant management data, working with contracts, work orders and technical inquiries. The system can also automatically manage the status of subscriber services at a switch, supporting an interface with all the switch types in use.

  • Performing all the functions related to the current services to customers (including settling accounts with customers, issuing consolidated bills, managing services in the automatic mode, registering customers' queries, supporting marketing campaigns);
  • Supporting Web and WAP interfaces allowing a subscriber to receive information and manage his/her services without the operator's assistance;
  • Supporting GPRS;
  • Supporting work with a telecom operator's dealer network by providing sales of new subscriptions via dealers;
  • Supporting the auto-notification option for informing subscribers about their balance state and the would-be service discontinuation (autodial, SMS, IVR);
  • Supporting interaction with the telecom operator's branch offices (assigning customers to branch offices, delimitating user rights, separate billing by branch offices);
  • Supporting work with an unlimited number of tariff plans that include service packages and numerous types of discount plans; an option to rate calls by an arbitrary algorithm;
  • Maximum personification for the operator-customer relationships; supporting the Friends and Family and Subscriber Price Groups options, as well as the service algorithms for the customers which are grouped by telecom operator by an arbitrary criterion.
