The high-performance PETER-SERVICE HRS rating server is aimed for calculating the costs of calls made by the subscribers of a fixed telecom operator, a GSM operator or a CDMA operator.
HRS uses as starting information the switchboard entries received by the adapter. The adapter forms from the incoming account entries a data flow in the format of exchange with the rating server and transfers it using the TCP/IP protocol. The rating server calculates the cost of subscribers' calls basing on the data received.
The rating server operates as an entry calculator for online services.
HRS includes the modules of temporary storage (cashing) of the data about the subscribers, rating plans, roaming partners and subsidiary operators; the modules of unloading data to the database and file.
Operating, controlling and monitoring the subsystems operations can be organized via the SNMP protocol, which allows of using a common approach to managing HRS same as any other network component.
